I see there is a site for Aboriginal Peoples Stories of Canda to submit their blogs and the stories that are affecting us..

First and foremost the citizens of Canada need to be educated on what happened to us in a historical nature and how this has created turmoil for my people. What has happened to my people you are seeing everyday in the news. Our land was taken from us. Our families were severed from their children and this is still continuing. Treaties are not being lived up too. Our reserves are exempt from the Human Rights code because of the Indian Act. Many laws were passed in John A Mac Donald times that prevented my people from finding their children. Their children were taken to Residential Schools to be educated but was this really happening? There is so much to learn about my culture and heritage that is very respectful and harmoniuous. The Canadian Governement did all of these "crimes on humanities" to us knowingly. They wanted my people to be dependant upon the systems that created them. This is why you see so much violence in the Media about my people's Deviant behaviors. (i.e) Youth Crime, Assault, Roadblocks (so we can get what is rightfully ours) Child Welfare System, Prisons, Inequality (in all arears of the systems) Huam Right's Abuses in Huge Forms, Sexual Exploitation, Child Exploitation, Human Trafficing and many other gross Negligence

Please take the time and read about the history that has affected my people.

Right On!
I just wanted to let you know that I am so happy that someone took the time to write this out.

There is so much that needs to be learned by both our own people and the people that take this country for granted.

I agree.
Have you ever heard of a Class Action Act that would take up the Canadian Government into court for genocide against the Native People of this land?

Has anyone thaught of starting up a Native political party? Some French people have started their own political party to be heard and to be amalgamated under one voice to pass laws regarding their rights. Why not start a political party that would embark in the system that the White imported and enforced on the Aboriginal people, so as to embark in the game they organized, to then pass laws that would revert our society into a different and hoppefully more harmonious way of living.

I am white, and I am French. I am also a past candidate for the Green Party federally. But if such a party would come into creation, I would be one of the first people to become a member...

--A friend of mine asked me last week what would be my one and only cause to fight for, and my answer was, Native rights and beliefs! After a while of posing myself the question, the answer was simple. We came to this land, and we should be living under the rules of the ones who were here first. Plus, your culture holds the most beautiful way of seeing, and living life on this Earth. The entire world population would be better off, if we'd all live under your cultures way of life!--

A Native Federal Party, that is a very interesting idea.

I too am a White/Euro Canadian, and am always excited to learn more about the Aboriginal cultues of the Indiginous peoples in and outside the Yukon, where I live. I find that every Canadian Aboriginal community has unique differences, but also similarities and common beliefs that are beneficial for all Canadians.

Now, ways we can turn these feelings, thoughts, and realities into action, well, i only know a few. But I do know that what efforts are made to bring people`s awareness to the realities and stories of Canadian Aboriginal People are never wasted.

Children in Foster Care Will there be a civil suit happening soon?
Well finally our Residential School surviors were compensated by the government. Not really though the lawyers benefitted more than the people who were the victims themselves. So this leaves me with a question did canada benefit from the survivors stories?
Well lets see what will happen next. The next step is for foster children to bring their truth forward and reveal what happened while living in foster homes. A civil suit in the making for the provinces and federal governemnt which again the taxpayers will pay out of pocket expenses again. This will continue until socity gets the truth of our systems that exploit children while they are young so their will be work for the middle class. Think about it! Lets damage our children when they are young so they become deviant children and go from one system to the next. This is what the Children Aid Society is meant for. They are suppose to protect children but with the experience that I have and the knowledge I have about this system children are being EXPLOITED! I am not saying all children are going to be deviant there might be some loving couples out there who are not in it for the money but for the utmost love fo the child. Lets wait and see what will happen in the next couple of years but I know for a fact that I have a lawsuit going on in Thunder Bay Ontario for the crimes against us children who lived in despicable environment that were suppose to be loving homes. They were only in it for the money as it was a job and how many of us really truly love our jobs or just do it to pay the bills.
